Open Settings from the menu. The tabs run across the top: Profile, Security, Notifications, Analyst memory, Team, API, AI apps (MCP), Webhooks, Appearance and Data. AI apps (MCP) only shows while FxMind offers it on your account, so you may not see it. Billing is not a tab: it has its own Billing page in the menu. You can open a tab straight from a link, for example Settings > Notifications.
Profile
- Picture. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 2 MB, at least 64 pixels wide and tall. Press Upload, or Remove.
- Name. Shows on daily reviews, tickets and invoices. At least two characters.
- Email. This is how you sign in, and where alerts, invoices and sign-in links go. To change it, type the new address. You type a code from your authenticator app. We send a confirmation link to the new address, and you keep signing in with the old one until you click it. Verified or not verified shows next to it. Confirm it to receive guard alerts and invoices by email.
- Timezone. Every time on your desk is shown in this zone: the calendar, guard alerts, trade times and quiet hours. Daylight saving is handled for you.
- Language. Also used for emails and briefs.
The tab also explains Broker time: MetaTrader servers keep their own clock, often UTC+2 or UTC+3, and FxMind converts it when it reads your account so trades and events line up. Changes wait until you save; Discard drops them.
Security
Two-step sign-in (off until you turn it on), Passkeys, Password, Recovery codes, Devices signed in and Remembered devices. The password must be at least 10 characters, and changing it signs out every other device. Details: set up 2FA and passkeys and this wasn't me. Sign out every other device ends every session except this one.
Notifications
- Where we can reach you. Channels: In-app, Email, Push, Telegram, Discord. Push is per browser or phone: press Turn on push on each one, then Send a test. Telegram and Discord are linked with a one-time code or a webhook address, and delivery to them is part of Pro and above. On an iPhone, push works only when you open FxMind from the Home Screen.
- What is sent where. One row per kind of message: guard alerts, price alarms and scheduled orders, daily review, session briefs, billing, support replies, referrals, security and community. Switch off what you do not want on a channel.
- Always on. Guard alerts, billing and security always land in your in-app inbox. Security emails cannot be switched off. With a guarded link, guard alerts keep push or email on.
- Quiet hours. A daily window with no push, Telegram or Discord. Messages wait in your inbox. Email still arrives. Breach alerts are never held, and on a guarded link no guard alert waits.
- Session briefs. As published, Daily digest at a time you pick, or Do not send. The session digest (one short message when a session opens, for your markets) is off until you switch it on.
Analyst memory
Two sections. AI and your data shows whether you agreed to the AI handling your data and lets you agree or withdraw: see AI and your data. Analyst memory lists the short facts the analyst saved about how you trade, in your own words, such as "I only trade London". It saves only what you tell it about yourself. Delete one note with the bin icon, or press Clear all. It starts empty.
Team
Invite people to read your journal, stats and daily reviews with their own sign-in. They never see broker logins, billing or settings, and they cannot trade. Seats come with Elite (2) and Desk (5, yours included). The same tab lists the teams you are on. Steps: team seats and API keys.
API
Keys that let your own scripts read your journal, the news calendar and market briefs, and set price alarms. On Elite and Desk, and making a key needs 2FA. Keys expire in 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or never, you choose. Steps: team seats and API keys.
AI apps (MCP)
Shown only when FxMind offers it on your account, and with a plan that includes it (Elite and Desk). It connects Claude, Cursor or another AI app to your prices, news and journal in three steps: turn on 2FA, create a key, paste the connection into your AI app. Reading is the default. Sending orders is a separate box with its own limits and risk note, and an order your AI drafts waits for your tap. You can also block AI orders on any account.
Webhooks
A TradingView alert can call FxMind the moment it fires. Press Add a webhook, name it, choose what it does (Send me a message, Mark it on my desk, or Draft an order) and press Create. Copy the address and the message template now, because the address is shown only once, and paste them into a TradingView alert. Send a test checks it. Get a new address replaces a leaked one, Turn off stops it and Delete removes it. A drafted order is never sent until you press Confirm, and drafting orders needs Pro and a guarded link. See TradingView webhooks.
Appearance
- Theme. Ink (dark), Paper (light) or Follow the device.
- Row density. Comfortable or Compact. Compact fits about 40% more trades on a screen.
- Number format. Thousands and decimal separators. Prices always keep the digits your broker quotes.
- Menu and guides. If your account uses the short menu, Show every tool in the menu turns the full menu on. Off, the menu shows Today, Calendar, Analyst, Desk, Guards and Journal, and the rest sits under All tools. New accounts start off. Show the page guides again brings back each page's short how-to.
Theme, density and number format are saved on this device only, so your phone and your computer can differ.
Data
- Export journal. Choose a Format (CSV, one row per trade, or JSON, with notes and tags) and a Period (last 30 days, 90 days, 12 months or everything), then press Export journal. We email you a link that works for 24 hours. It is on every plan.
- Request archive. Everything we hold about you as one ZIP: profile, linked accounts (never passwords), trades, notes, guard events, conversations, tickets and invoices. It can take up to an hour, and the link goes to your email.
- Your files lists what you asked for, with Download.
- Delete account closes your FxMind account for good. Guards stop and your subscription is cancelled at once, and the deletion runs after 7 days: sign in before then to cancel it. Your broker accounts and their open trades are not touched. It asks for a code from your authenticator app.
