Passkeys, two-step sign-in and this wasn't me

Sign in with your phone or computer's own lock instead of a password, add two-step sign-in with an authenticator app, and use the this wasn't me link in a security email to lock everything down.

A passkey uses your device's own fingerprint, face or PIN to sign in, with nothing to type, and it only works on fxmind.ai. A fake site cannot use it. Your first passkey also turns on two-step sign-in and gives you 10 recovery codes.

Add a passkey

  1. Open Settings and the Security tab.
  2. Under Passkeys, press Add a passkey.
  3. Follow your device's prompt: fingerprint, face or PIN.
  4. If it is your first passkey, save the 10 recovery codes it shows. Each works once.
  5. To keep track of several, press Rename and give it a name you recognise, like My iPhone.

If your browser cannot make passkeys, try Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on a current phone or computer. Lost a phone? Press Remove next to its passkey. Your recovery codes still let you in. Removing your last passkey, without an authenticator app, turns two-step sign-in off. For an authenticator app, see set up 2FA.

This wasn't me

Every security email, a new device, a passkey added, a password changed, carries a this wasn't me link. Clicking it signs every session out, turns your password off and sends you a fresh reset link, and undoes anything added in the days before the click: a passkey, an API key, a seat you did not grant.

  1. Press this wasn't me in the email.
  2. Open the reset link we send you and choose a new password.
  3. Sign in, then check Devices signed in and Passkeys in Settings > Security, and press Sign out every other device if anything looks wrong.

Go to Settings > Security.
