Read your Stats page

Stats turns your closed trades into numbers: what you win and lose, and on which days, hours and markets. Four tabs, each number explained in a few words.

5 min readUpdated Sep 30, 2026

Stats is in the menu under After you trade. If your menu is the short one, open All tools first. Every number comes from your closed trades only. A trade still running is not counted until it closes. With no closed trade, the page says so and offers Link an account or Check your accounts.

The four tabs

Overview
Your numbers for a period, with charts. This is the tab that opens first.
Compare
Two sets of trades side by side, for example London against New York. How to use it.
Cross analysis
A second breakdown inside one filter, for example symbol by session. Cells with few trades are dimmed, never hidden.
Calendar
A year of days, each coloured by its net result. Pick the account and the year, and click a day to open it in the Journal.

Choose what to count

  1. Open the Overview tab.
  2. If you have more than one account, pick one in the account box, or keep All accounts.
  3. Pick the period: 30D, 90D or All. It opens on 90D.
  4. If the news filter shows, pick All trades, Near news or Away from news. Near news means opened in the 30 minutes before a high-impact release up to 15 minutes after, or held through one.

The Download PDF button at the top gives the same period as a report. Details here.

The eight numbers at the top

Net P&L
What you made or lost after commission and swap, with the number of trades.
Win rate
The share of trades that made money. It does not say how much. A 70% win rate can still lose money if the losers are big.
Profit factor
Money won divided by money lost. 1.50 means 1.50 won for each 1.00 lost. Below 1.00 you lost money overall. It shows a dash when there is no losing trade.
Expectancy
What an average trade made, in money: net result divided by trades.
Average R
The same idea in units of what you risked. R needs a stop loss (an order that closes the trade at a price you set). Trades without one are left out of this number.
Avg win, avg loss
The size of a typical winner and a typical loser. Winners smaller than losers need a high win rate to pay.
Max drawdown
The deepest fall of your running profit from its best point, in money. It is measured on closed trades only, so it can differ from what your account showed while trades were open.
Avg time held
How long a trade stays open on average, and the fees (commission plus swap) with their share of your gross winnings.

The Score panel

Under the numbers, Score gives a figure from 0 to 100. It needs 20 closed trades in the period. Results count for 60 points (profit factor, average win against average loss, win rate, recovery, consistency) and habits count for 40 (trades with a stop or a risk amount, playbook rules followed, trades away from news). Every part is listed with its own number, and How the score is calculated shows the formula. It describes your past trades and says nothing about the next one.

The charts and panels

  • P&L calendar. One month as a grid, a colour per day. How to read it. Use the arrows for other months.
  • Streaks and extremes. The longest run of wins and of losses, your current run, your best and worst day (click one to open that day in the Journal), and your largest single win and loss.
  • R distribution. How many trades ended at each result in steps of 0.5R. A tall bar left of zero is a habit of losing more than you planned.
  • Drawdown. The line of how far below your best point you were, day by day.
  • News versus no news. Average R near news against away from it. It only checks trades from the day our stored calendar begins.
  • Best and worst moments (MFE and MAE). MFE is the furthest the price went your way during a trade, MAE the furthest against you. It needs 5 closed trades with a stop loss and our candles.
  • By setup, mistake, tag and playbook. Results grouped by the labels you put on trades in the Journal. A line tells you how many closed trades have no tag yet.

Breakdowns (by symbol, session, weekday, long against short, hour of entry in UTC, time held) are folded until you have 30 closed trades, because on a handful of trades one trade swings a whole chart. Press Show breakdowns to open them early. Each bar shows net result, trade count and win rate when you point at it.

If a number looks wrong

  • Fewer trades than you expect. Check the period (30D hides older trades) and the account box.
  • A trade is missing. Trades import a few seconds after they close. Older history that your broker archived has to be imported from a statement: see import a statement.
  • A dash instead of a number. The number needs something you have not produced yet, such as a losing trade or a stop loss.
