Prop-firm progress tracker

See your challenge or funded phase, today's progress against every rule in your preset, and a history of past phases, computed from the same numbers Guards uses.

A prop firm is a company that lets you trade its money once you pass its test (the challenge). It gives you rules: a profit target, a daily loss limit, a maximum drawdown (how far the account may fall from its high), a number of trading days. The tracker shows those rules for your account and how close you are to each one.

Open it

  1. Open Journal, then Prop and money, then the Prop tracker card.
  2. Stay on the Progress tab and pick your account in Pick an account.
  3. Read Targets and limits: one row for each rule of your preset, with how far you are. Room left says how much you can still lose before a limit.
  4. At the top you see the Balance, the Equity (balance plus open results) and the Firm day, which is the trading day as your firm counts it. It can start at another hour than midnight in your time zone. It shows when it resets next.

Nothing is calculated twice. The tracker uses the same rule set and evaluation as Guards, so the two pages cannot disagree.

It says no rules are set

  1. Press Set up in Guards.
  2. Pick your firm's preset and save it: how to set your prop firm rules.
  3. Come back to the tracker.

Phase history

The Phase history panel lists every phase your account has had, oldest first, so you can see a challenge you passed and the funded phase that followed it. If there is only one phase, it says so.

The Money tab

The Money tab next to Progress is your money log: what each challenge cost and what it paid. How it works.

No account yet? The tracker asks you to link an MT5 or MT4 account first: link an account.
