A prop firm is a company that lets you trade its money once you pass its test, the challenge. Each attempt has a price, and some attempts pay you back. The money log adds it up, so you know if the whole effort makes money. You can log a challenge even if you never linked the account.

Log a challenge

  1. Open Journal, Prop and money, then the Money log card. (It is the Money tab of the Prop tracker.)
  2. Press Log a challenge.
  3. Pick the Firm from the list of forex prop firms.
  4. Type the Phase in your own words, for example Phase 1 or Funded, and the Account size.
  5. Pick the Status: Active, Passed, Failed, Funded or Closed.
  6. Type the date in Started on. When the challenge is decided, add Ended on: it feeds the average days to pass.
  7. Optional: pick a Linked account, or leave No link. Add a Note.
  8. Press Save.

Add fees and payouts

  1. On the challenge, press Add fee. Pick the Fee type (First purchase, Reset or Re-buy), type the Amount and the Date.
  2. When the firm pays you, press Add payout and type the amount and the date.
