What you felt when you clicked often decides the result more than the chart. How you felt takes one tap and is optional.
Tag a trade
- Open the Journal and click a trade to review it.
- Under the discipline stars, find How you felt.
- Tap one of the six words: Calm, Confident, Unsure, Afraid to miss it, Wanted it back, Bored. Tap it again to clear it.
- Save the review as usual.
What it shows later
Once 10 of your trades have a feeling, it shows on What works in Edge and insights, and in the numbers step of the weekly review. Before that, the page tells you how many you have. You get one line per feeling and per currency: trades, share won, average R (the result measured in units of what you risked) and net. Currencies are never added together.
Read it as a question, not a verdict. If trades tagged Wanted it back lose more than the rest, you have found a rule to write down: after a loss, wait. See Insights, discipline and the edge finder.
The discipline trend in the weekly review
In the weekly review, the Discipline step shows the same bar chart as the Notebook: one bar per day of last week, 0 to 5, green for 4 to 5, red for 1 to 2, grey in between or when not rated. Hover or tap a bar for that day's net result and the rules broken.
