Every trade has costs that come off your result. This page adds them up for one account and one month, so you can see what your broker took. It is called Broker costs on the page.
Open it
- Open Journal, then Prop and money, then the Costs card.
- Pick a linked MT5 or MT4 account in the box at the top right.
- Use the arrows at the month name to change the month.
What it shows
- Commission
- A fee your broker charges per trade, in money, on top of the spread
- Swap
- What it costs (or pays) to hold a trade overnight. Your broker sets the rate per pair
- Triple swap
- Most brokers charge three nights of swap at once, in the middle of the week, to cover the weekend. The page counts those nights
- Fees
- Any other charge from your broker or platform
- Slippage
- The gap between the price you asked for and the price you got. Only for limit and stop orders you placed from the FxMind desk
- Stop-loss gap
- A trade that closed beyond its own stop price, read from the deal itself
Below the totals you find the same costs By symbol and By session, the Worst 10 fills of the month, and a Last 12 months trend.
What it cannot show
The spread is the gap between the buy and the sell price your broker shows. FxMind does not store it, so spread cost is not counted, and the page says so instead of guessing. A market order asks for no price, so it cannot be compared with a fill and is not counted under slippage.
Needs the Pro plan or above. On other plans the page shows a sample with a link to the plans. No linked account? The page asks you to link one first: link an account.
