Sometimes talking is faster than typing, right after a trade. A voice memo is a short recording you keep next to a trade or a day.
Record one
- Open the trade (in Journal, click it) or the day (Journal, Notebook, pick the day).
- Find the Voice memos panel and press the microphone button, Record a voice memo.
- Your browser asks to use the microphone the first time. Allow it.
- Talk. A timer shows how long you have been recording. Tap the button again to stop. You can also hold the button down and record only while you press it.
- Wait for Voice memo saved. The memo appears in the list with a play button.
Limits
- A memo stops by itself at 3 minutes.
- Up to 5 memos per trade, 5 per day, and 1,000 in all.
- Voice memos need a paid plan. Your notes, tags, playbooks and shared links stay free.
When it does not work
- Microphone blocked: allow the microphone for this site in your browser's settings, then try again.
- The voice memo was not saved: check your connection and record it again.
- To remove one, press Delete next to it.
