The demo is a real FxMind desk connected to a real MetaTrader 5 demo account (a practice account at a broker, with fake money). You see the product, not a recording of it. No email, no password, no card.
Open the demo
- Open the sign-in page.
- Press Look around the demo account.
- Wait a few seconds while Opening the demo account shows. You land on your demo desk with a banner that says you are in the demo account.
- Use the menu on the left as you would in your own account.
What works
- Every page opens: the journal, the news calendar, guards, stats, the trading desk. A page that lets you look but not change anything says so on the page.
- Live prices and live news, from the same feeds a paying account uses.
- Placing and closing trades. The demo account takes orders, because an order ticket you cannot use tells you very little.
- The whole desk: watchlists, chart layouts and templates, drawings, price alarms, news alerts and scheduled orders.
- Strategy Lab practice sessions, where you walk past prices forward one candle at a time.
- Asking the analyst questions, from an allowance everyone looking shares that day. It resets at 00:00 UTC.
What is capped, and why
Everyone looking at the demo is in the *same* account at the same time. So that one visitor cannot spoil it for the next, opening a trade is limited. A lot is the size of a trade: 0.10 lots is a tenth of a standard lot.
- Largest order
- 0.10 lots
- Open at one time
- 5 positions and pending orders together
- Closing a trade
- Never limited
Closing is deliberately left alone. If you arrive and find the account in a mess someone else made, you can tidy it.
What is shared, and what is not kept
Because the account is shared, what you change on the desk is seen by the next visitor: a drawing on EURUSD, a watchlist, an alarm, a layout. You may also find lines and alarms someone else left. The session lasts two hours and then ends.
Things that belong to a person are refused in the demo: your profile, password, two-step sign-in, billing, support tickets, journal notes, TradingView webhooks, and saving or running automated backtests. Nothing you type there follows you into an account you open later.
When you want your own
- Press Create my account in the demo banner. It starts a normal sign-up and signs the demo session out.
- Confirm your email. You get 14 days of Pro, free.
- Then link your trading account.
