The bell at the top right of every app page shows a dot when something new has arrived. Press it for the latest lines, Open the inbox for the full page, or Mark all read. The full page is Notifications. New lines appear by themselves, with no reload.
What arrives
- Guard
- A warning before a high-impact news release while you hold a trade, a prop firm limit at 70% or 90%, a breach, and what a guard did.
- Alarm
- A price alarm that rang, and a scheduled order that was sent or could not be sent.
- Daily review
- Your recap is ready. More.
- Briefs
- The session brief digest for your markets, if you switched it on.
- Billing
- Receipts, a trial about to end, a payment that failed.
- Support
- A reply to your support chat or ticket.
- Referrals
- A referral that converted, a commission approved, a payout sent.
- Security
- A sign-in from a new device or country, a changed password, two-factor changes.
- Community
- New setups in your rooms, the owner's changes to a trade you follow, and mentions.
Sign-in links, one-time codes, password resets and address confirmations never appear in the inbox. They go only to your email.
Using the inbox
- Open the bell and press Open the inbox, or go to Notifications.
- Lines are newest first, grouped as Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days and Older. New ones are marked new.
- Use the tabs All, Unread, Guards, Briefs, Billing, Support and Archived to narrow the list.
- Press a line's button, for example Open guards or Open the ticket, to go to the page it is about.
- On a line, choose Mark as read or Mark as unread, and Archive to tidy it away. Archived lines wait under Archived; Move back to the inbox restores one.
- Mark all as read clears the unread count and offers Undo. Show older loads more lines.
The inbox keeps each line for 90 days, read or not, archived or not, and keeps at most your newest 500. It is for what happened lately. Nothing important lives only here.
Choose what you get and where
- Open Settings > Notifications. From the inbox, the button Notification settings goes straight there.
- Under Where we can reach you, see the channels: In-app, Email, Push, Telegram and Discord. Connect the ones you want.
- Under What is sent where, each row is one kind of message and each column a channel. Switch off what you do not want on a channel.
- Under Timing, set Quiet hours and choose how you get session briefs: As published, Daily digest or Do not send.
- Press save. A change applies from the next message.
The channels, honestly
- In-app is this inbox. Guard alerts, billing and security always land here.
- Email goes to the address on your account. Security emails cannot be switched off.
- Push shows on the screen of a browser or phone, even with FxMind closed. Turn it on in each device you use, in Settings. On iPhone and iPad it works only when you open FxMind from the Home Screen, on iOS 16.4 or later. If the page says push is not open yet, it is not available yet and email keeps delivering.
- Telegram and Discord are part of Pro and above. Discord connects by pasting a channel's webhook address (steps here). Telegram connects with a one-time code sent to the FxMind bot. If a channel says it is not open yet, it is not available yet.
Quiet hours and guards
Quiet hours keep push, Telegram and Discord silent in a window you choose, in your time zone. Messages wait in your inbox. Email still arrives, except the session digest, which waits for the window to end. Quiet hours never hold a breach alert. On a guarded link, where a guard is allowed to close your trade, guard alerts cannot be fully silenced and no guard alert waits: the inbox plus push or email stay on, because a guard that may act has to be able to tell you.
If nothing arrives
- Confirm your email address. Email alerts go to it, and the Getting started checklist on Today has a button that sends the confirmation link again.
- Check spam and promotions.
- Check the row and the channel in What is sent where. A switched-off cell sends nothing.
- For push: check the browser has not blocked notifications for fxmind.ai, and that push is turned on in that device.
- Still nothing: tell support which message you expected and when.
