Good trading is mostly boring habits done every day. The habit tracker is a short checklist for each day. A streak is the number of days in a row you did every item.
Open it
- Open Journal, then Notebook, then the Habits card.
- Read Today: each item with a tick. The ones marked Auto tick themselves from your data.
- Tick your own items by hand.
- Read Current streak and Longest streak, in days.
The four automatic items
- Stop on every trade
- Every trade of the day had a stop loss or a planned risk
- No trade opened inside a high-impact news window
- No trade opened in the minutes around a big release
- Journal note written
- You wrote a note for the day in the Notebook
- At most 5 trades
- You took no more than 5 trades that day
A stop loss is the price where a trade closes by itself to limit the loss. You can archive any of these items if you do not want it.
Add your own items
- Press Add an item.
- Type it, for example
Reviewed yesterday's trades. - Press Add. You can keep up to 20 items.
- To take one off the list, press Archive. Bring back restores it, and Delete removes an item of your own for good.
How the streak counts
- A clean day is a day where every item is done.
- A day with no trades and no note is skipped. It neither breaks nor adds to the streak, so a weekend never breaks it.
- A day with activity and an item not done breaks the streak.
- The square grid, Last 6 months, shows one square per day you traded or wrote a note. Darker means more of the checklist was done.
