Short answer
- Communities are rooms with realtime chat, public or private. Every signed-in trader can join and chat; creating a room needs Pro and above, or a trial.
- A setup card is a real trade from the room owner's own broker account, published from the desk, that follows the trade to its close: entry, stop, target, status and result, in R and pips.
- On Pro and above, a member can follow a setup on their own linked account. Entering is always the follower's own tap. After that, automatic management keeps the follower's stop, target and part closes in step with the owner's changes, under the consent given when following.
- Setups are never deleted, and a trade published more than a minute after it opened is marked and left out of the room's record. FxMind places nothing without a tap; it never opens a trade for anyone on its own.
Words used here
- Community
- A room, public or private, where signed-in traders chat in real time. Anyone signed in can join and read; only Pro and above, or a trial, can create one.
- Setup card
- A trade the room's owner publishes from their own linked broker account. It shows entry, stop, target, status and, once closed, the result.
- Following
- Opening the same setup on your own linked account, sized your way, after your own tap.
- Automatic management
- Once you follow a setup, FxMind keeps your stop, target and part closes in step with the owner's changes to that trade, under the consent you gave when you followed.
- Prompt
- When an owner's change cannot be applied automatically (for example automatic actions are off on your account), FxMind asks you instead of acting.
- R (R-multiple)
- A trade's result measured against the risk it started with. +2R made twice what it risked.
Rooms and realtime chat
A community is a room, public or private, with a realtime chat. Any signed-in trader can join a public room, read and post. Creating a room needs Pro or above, or an active trial. A room's owner and moderators can invite, mute, ban and manage reports; text stays plain text, and the only link ever allowed in a message is a Telegram link, shown as a chip that says it leaves FxMind.
Setup cards: a real trade, not a tip
A room owner can publish a setup card from a trade on their own linked broker account: an open position or a pending order, published from the desk. The card is not typed in by hand, beyond an optional short note: it is read from the broker's own account and updated as the trade moves: entry, stop, target, order type, status (pending, open, closed, not triggered, cancelled) and, once it is done, the result in R and pips. Only the room's owner can publish, and only their own trade.
Following a setup on your own account
On Pro and above (and on a trial), a member can follow a setup card on their own linked broker account. Entering is always the follower's own tap: FxMind never opens a trade for anyone without it. The order is built from the setup: same instrument, side and order type, sized the follower's own way: a percent of their own account risked, a fixed amount, or a fixed number of lots.
After the follower's own tap opens it, automatic management can keep the trade in step with the owner's: if the owner moves their stop or target, or closes part of the position, the same change is applied to the follower's trade, matched to their own size. This is on by default when following and can be turned off per follow. It never opens or adds to a position, and a stop or target the follower already moved by hand stays theirs; the owner's next change becomes a prompt instead of an automatic one.
The room's record
A room shows its setups, closed results, win rate and total R for the period you choose, split by live, demo and prop-tagged accounts. Setups are never deleted: a moderator can hide a reported card, but it still counts in the record, with the reason shown. Nothing here is a signal or advice, and past results in a room say nothing about what a trade opened today will do.
Alerts
A room can notify its members of a new setup, a prompt that needs their tap, an automatic change once it has happened, and a mention by name in chat, by push and by email, on the schedule each trader sets for that room.
Who can do what
Every plan can join communities and chat in real time. Creating a community (up to 3, public or private) and following a setup on your own account are Pro and above, and the 14-day Pro trial has both. When you follow, you pick the size and your own guard rules still apply to the order. See /features and /pricing.
Questions
- 01
Can anyone create a community?
Anyone signed in can join and chat in a public room. Creating one needs Pro or above, or an active trial.
- 02
Does following a setup open a trade for me automatically?
No. Entering is always your own tap. After that, if you turn on automatic management, your stop, target and part closes stay in step with the owner's changes to their own trade.
- 03
What happens if the owner closes their trade while I'm asleep?
With automatic management on and automatic actions allowed on your account, your matching trade closes with them. If it cannot be applied automatically, it becomes a prompt for your next tap instead.
- 04
Can a setup card be edited after the fact to look better?
No. Setups are never deleted, a late publish is marked and left out of the record, and every change to a card is the trade's own broker data, not something typed in.
- 05
Is a setup card advice to take the trade?
No. Every room carries a notice that setups are shared for education, FxMind does not give advice or place trades for you, and past results do not predict future ones.
