Words used here
- Pip
- The usual smallest price step of a pair: 0.0001 on most pairs, 0.01 on pairs with JPY.
- Pipette (point)
- One tenth of a pip. MT4 and MT5 quotes show it as the last, smaller digit.
- Quote currency
- The second currency in a pair. A pip is worth a fixed amount of it; converted into your account currency, the value moves with the rate.
