The FxMind trading desk: charts, one-click orders, alarms and the scheduler

A full-screen desk built on FxMind's own chart renderer: up to 4 charts, 40 indicators, one-click orders behind explicit consent, price alarms and scheduled orders, plus what each plan allows.

Short answer

  • The desk is a full-screen workspace: up to 4 charts at once, M1 to MN, FxMind's own renderer with 40 indicators and overlays for economic events, headlines, your own executions and trading sessions.
  • One-click trading is off until you turn it on through a plain-language consent dialog. Even then, every order still runs the same pre-trade checks; a block never sends and a warning always asks first.
  • Price alarms watch either FxMind's own feed or your linked broker's own quotes, and fire once or every time a level is crossed.
  • Scheduled orders wait for a time or a calendar event, re-resolve if the event moves, and send through the same idempotent path as every other order, so a retry can never place it twice.
  • Order entry, one-click and scheduled orders need Pro and above, on an account linked with the master password. Charts and indicators work on every plan; price alarms start at Trader, with 50 active.

Words used here

Guarded link
An account linked with the master password, with limits the trader turned on. Only a guarded link can send an order or let Guards act.
Pre-trade check
Everything FxMind verifies before an order goes out: the session is open, guard rules allow it, the broker would accept it, a required playbook item is ticked.
Feed basis vs. broker basis
An alarm can watch FxMind's own reference price feed, or a linked broker's own bid/ask, which can differ slightly from broker to broker.
Idempotency key
A unique tag on an order send so a retried request is recognised as the same one and never doubles the order.

The charts

Up to 4 charts on screen at once (side by side or stacked in pairs), from M1 to MN, as candles, bars, line, area or Heikin Ashi, in normal, log or percent scale. FxMind's own renderer holds 40 indicators today, placed in overlays or their own panes, plus overlays a plain chart does not carry on its own: economic events with the usual-move band next to them, headlines, your own executions marked on the price they actually filled at, and the Asia, London and New York sessions drawn as labelled boxes you can hide.

The order ticket

Market, limit, stop and stop-limit orders, sized by lots, risk % or risk money, with the stop and target set by price, pips or money, an RR and risk preview before you send, and an expiration for a pending order. Positions and pending orders are drawn as lines on the chart itself, with a draggable stop, target and price and a live risk panel, so closing, partial-closing or modifying a trade from the chart works the same as from the order panel.

One-click trading, behind explicit consent

One-click is off until you turn it on, through a dialog written in plain words: one click sends a real market order at the default size and stop, with no second question; slippage in fast markets is still yours to bear; Guards still check every order; and you can turn it off any time. FxMind records when you agreed, which version of the text, and from where. Turning it on does not turn off the checks: a block still refuses the order and a warning still asks first, one-click only skips the second confirmation tap, not the check itself. A separate playbook checklist item, if you set one at the ticket, refuses one-click entirely and opens the ticket for review instead, because one click has nowhere on screen to show a checklist.

Price alarms

An alarm fires when price is at or above, at or below, or crossing a level, on either FxMind's own reference feed or your linked broker's own bid/ask (the two can differ slightly). "Once" rings a single time and stops; "every" rings again each time the condition is met, with a short cooldown between rings so a choppy price near the level does not flood you. Delivery is a realtime alert on screen and an email, each one recorded so a retry or a second server process can never ring the same trigger twice.

Scheduled orders

A pending order you set now to send later: at a fixed time, or tied to a calendar release. If the release moves, the scheduled order's run time moves with it; if the release is cancelled, the order is refused rather than sent against a event that no longer exists. When its moment comes, it runs the same checks a manual order does (the session is open, the link allows it, the guard rules pass) and sends through the same idempotent path every FxMind order uses, so a retry after a slow response can never place it a second time. A read-only link, a locked-out account or a closed market refuse it with a plain reason.

Charts and 40 indicators on FxMind's own feed work on every plan, Free included, for watching the market. Price alarms start at Trader, with 50 active. Placing an order (including one-click, drag-to-modify and scheduled orders) needs a guarded link and Pro and above, the same split as Guards' own actions.

AI trade ideas: Open in ticket

The analyst can propose a trade idea, and FxMind checks it against your account and your rules before it shows. Trade ideas are on every paid plan (Trader and up) and on the running 14-day trial; Free does not have them. Each idea has an Open in ticket button that fills the desk's order ticket with the idea's entry, stop and target. Nothing is sent: you check the numbers, set the size and press send yourself, and sending from the desk needs order entry, which is Pro and above. See /features.

Questions

  1. 01

Is one-click trading on by default?

No. It is off until you turn it on through a plain-language consent screen, and you can turn it off again at any time.

  2. 02

Does turning on one-click skip the safety checks?

No. It skips the extra confirmation tap, not the pre-trade check. A guard block still refuses the order, and a warning still stops to ask.

  3. 03

Can a price alarm watch my broker's own price instead of FxMind's feed?

Yes, on a linked account. An alarm can watch either FxMind's reference feed or your broker's own bid/ask, which can move slightly differently.

  4. 04

What happens to a scheduled order if the news release it is tied to gets moved?

The scheduled order's run time moves with it. If the release is cancelled instead, the order is refused rather than sent against nothing.

  5. 05

Which plan do I need to place orders from the desk?

Pro and above, on an account you link with the master password (a guarded link). Free can watch charts. Trader can also set alarms (50 active). Neither can send an order from the desk.

  6. 06

Does Open in ticket place the trade?

No. It only fills the order ticket with the trade idea's entry, stop and target. You check it, set the size and send it yourself; nothing is sent automatically.
